When Katy and James decided to go a slightly different route for their DC engagement session by opting for an indoor location for their winter photos, I was so excited to plan something slightly less traditional – and the resulting photos of them in the industrial bar of the brand new Archer Hotel in Tysons, Virginia are absolute perfection. From the hotel bar, we decided to brave the winter weather to get some classic DC engagement photos, heading to the Georgetown Waterfront and stopping by the Potomac Boat Club as a nod to James’ membership at the oldest rowing club in the Washington, D.C. area.
