The Kennedy Performing Arts Center
The Kennedy Performing Arts Center is a staple of Washington, DC and lends a perfectly modern touch to any DC engagement session.
The Lincoln Monument
Probably the most classically Washington engagement session location, this Lincoln Monument is iconic and always a great go-to for DC engagement photos.
The Jefferson Memorial
Our favorite monument, known for its stunning architecture and also the gorgeous view of the DC waterfront and Lincoln monument.
Georgetown
An absolutely classic option for DC engagement photos, the waterfront of Georgetown and the surrounding shops up and down M street make for a perfect engagement session location.
The Supreme Court
The DC Supreme Court building makes for a stunning backdrop for classic Washington engagement portraits. With the wide open space and the iconic DC marble columns, this is a perfect venue for very clean and modern looking engagement photos. We would definitely recommend going early in the morning for a sunrise engagement session, as it can get crowded during the afternoons.
Adams Morgan
If you’re looking for a DC engagement session location that is a little more edgy and has some undeniable character, Adams Morgan is a great area to plan to shoot. The steps of The Line Hotel are our favorite spot for a still very DC-feel, but they feel more city-centered than your traditional monument session.
Union Station
Union Station is a great spot for a unique engagement session location, and can serve for a great indoor/outdoor session location, or a great spot for sessions on a rainy day. Although (as with any DC photo location) you’ll have to dodge people while photographing, if you have time and a bit of patience, this is a stunning engagement session location.
