Fashion-Focused Editorial in Marrakech, Morocco

An absolute bucket list item of an editorial shoot, creating a fashion-focused and chic editorial shoot that reflected a modern aesthetic while still giving a nod to the traditional Moroccan style was a long term dream of mine.

While there are so many stunning destination wedding venues located in Marrakech, we wanted to try and find something a little less traditional. Instead of one of the wide open luxury resorts outside of the city, we opted for a shoot location in the Medina, or the old city, is a stunning pink-walled section of Marrakech that is bustling with colors, spices, and people. The chic little Riad (a traditional Moroccan house built around a courtyard) we found had bright white walls and modern black and white design, which complimented the stylish wedding dresses we brought perfectly.
