Lynn and Stuart had an impeccably chic and editorial vision for their Washington DC wedding, and worked closely with their planner Silk and Slate Co. to bring that vision to life, while incorporating creative details to represent both of their family’s cultures into the design of the day. The couple met online, and began their romance while living in different cities, so travel has played a large role in their relationship. Before COVID hit, they traveled to their favorite city of Tokyo together, and Stuart proposed to Lynn while visiting a garden. When planning their wedding, they knew that they wanted to incorporate their love of travel, food, and their respective cultures into their wedding day, and this resulted in so many incredible and unique design touches throughout the day. From the thoughtfully crafted gift boxes containing some of their favorite items found throughout their travels, to the outfit change at the end of the night into a second look featuring the traditional Chinese red outfits, everything about this special day completely reflects this unique and incredible couple.
