Every wedding day is a result of a connection - the connection between you and your partner. However, there are so many more connections happening on a wedding day than just that. You hugging your mother, your grandmother holding your grandfather's hand, your father's eyes watering as he walks you down the aisle. I put capturing these connections just as high on my priority list as a killer shot of your wedding details.
As much as I definitely adore breathtaking posed editorial style couple's posing, I'm also here for the crazy wild romance. Weddings are gorgeous, yes, but mostly weddings are insanely joyful events, and as a wedding photographer, I think capturing that joy should be at the absolute top of the priority list.
I personally get so excited to take reception photos - no, they're not usually the most stunning images in your final gallery, and no they're not what are on the front page of my website, but they're FUN! The music is blasting, everyone has a drink in their hand, and it is just pure love and happiness and excitement!
A wedding day isn't a wedding day without at least a couple tears, and I believe that those need to be captured too. It's a huge thing, committing your life to another person, sending your daughter off into her own family when she's only ever been in yours, seeing your new bride as she starts to walk down the aisle towards you.
Capturing the moments that matter most in a truly elegant and timeless way, so you can re-live the most special day of your life again and again.
