Chances are, you came to my page because you love beautiful things. I do too. Beautiful things are my life's work... but my mission is to make sure that not a single emotion gets missed.

Let's Talk Wedding Philosophy

I've shot a lot of weddings. I've been lucky enough to get featured in worldwide publications, to work with some truly talented, big-name artists in the wedding industry, and to travel for my art. But the ideal photo of a gorgeous bride in a designer dress with her perfect flowers still doesn't mean as much to me as the father-daughter dance I photographed at a small North Carolina wedding, where the bride's younger brother stepped in for their late father, and surprised her with a song cut with voiceovers from their father when the bride had just been born. I love creating beauty, and will absolutely give you a gorgeous gallery from your wedding day. But the reason behind what I do is to capture the moments you'll never get back,  and to turn them into memories you can keep forever.

"It’s pretty easy to come by a photographer who can take your traditional staged wedding photographs. What sets Lindley apart from everyone is her ability to capture all those moments that otherwise get un-noticed, the subtle details. "

"It’s pretty easy to come by a photographer who can take your traditional staged wedding photographs. What sets Lindley apart from everyone is her ability to capture all those moments that otherwise get un-noticed, the subtle details. These are the photographs that my family especially holds dear. Lindley is able to capture individuals in their true element. There is a photo of my Papa that she took during the ceremony in which he was laughing, completely reflecting his personality. It is the way I will forever remember my Papa. Her photography brings the people in the photos to life because she is able to sneak in those shots while you’re in your natural element. While she was at our wedding she felt like family. She was professional, kind, funny, sweet, thorough, and patient. I don’t know how she does it, but I am beyond thankful she was there to capture the special moments. There is nobody better out there."

Every wedding day is a result of a connection - the connection between you and your partner. However, there are so many more connections happening on a wedding day than just that. You hugging your mother, your grandmother holding your grandfather's hand, your father's eyes watering as he walks you down the aisle. I put capturing these connections just as high on my priority list as a killer shot of your wedding details.

The Connection

As much as I definitely adore breathtaking posed editorial style couple's posing, I'm also here for the crazy wild romance. Weddings are gorgeous, yes, but mostly weddings are insanely joyful events, and as a wedding photographer, I think capturing that joy should be at the absolute top of the priority list.

The Joy

I'm here for

I personally get so excited to take reception photos - no, they're not usually the most stunning images in your final gallery, and no they're not what are on the front page of my website, but they're FUN! The music is blasting, everyone has a drink in their hand, and it is just pure love and happiness and excitement!

The Dancing

I'm here for

A wedding day isn't a wedding day without at least a couple tears, and I believe that those need to be captured too. It's a huge thing, committing your life to another person, sending your daughter off into her own family when she's only ever been in yours, seeing your new bride as she starts to walk down the aisle towards you.
