Flo and Tom kicked off their engagement season with a golden hour session on the beaches of Cape Cod — the kind of evening where the light does half the work for you. We started right as the sun dipped low, chased the two of them down the shoreline, and stayed out until the sky went soft and pink behind them. Here’s how the evening unfolded.

Golden Hour on the Beach

We started on the sand while the light was still warm and high, letting Flo and Tom just be together — walking, laughing, leaning into each other the way you do when you’ve just gotten engaged and are still a little giddy about it.

Wandering the Shoreline

As the sun kept dropping, we moved down toward the water and let the session get a little quieter — just the two of them, the waves, and that unmistakable Cape Cod evening light.

As the Sun Set

We closed things out right as the sun sank below the horizon, catching those last few minutes of color over the water. It’s one of my favorite parts of any golden hour session — the light changes by the second, and you only get one shot at it.
