Keelin and Alex got married on one of those perfect October days Washington – with crisp air and golden light. They said their vows in an intimate chapel ceremony at Georgetown before heading to the National Museum of Women in the Arts for a reception that felt like stepping into a black-tie fairy tale, marble columns, chandeliers, and all.

Getting Ready in Georgetown

The morning started slow and easy, as Keelin got ready in her Anne Barge gown while Alex geared up in an Enzo Custom suit a few blocks away, both surrounded by the people who love them most.

A First Look Before the Chapel

I love a good first look, and this one did not disappoint. Alex’s face when he turned around and saw Keelin for the first time is exactly why I keep doing this job — pure, unguarded joy, camera or no camera.

Portraits Before the Ceremony

With the hard part (the nerves) out of the way, we had a few unhurried minutes to wander Georgetown’s cobblestone streets for portraits before the ceremony. This is always my favorite kind of light — soft, late-afternoon, and completely unbothered by a schedule.

Vows at the Georgetown Chapel

Keelin and Alex exchanged vows in an intimate chapel ceremony that felt warm and timeless all at once. Guests filled the pews, the processional music swelled, and two people who clearly adore each other made it official.

Golden Hour Around Georgetown

After the ceremony we snuck away for a few more portraits while the light did all the work — golden, low, and perfect against Georgetown’s brick rowhouses. Family formals came together easily, everyone still riding the high of the ceremony.

A Reception at the National Museum of Women in the Arts

If you’ve never been to a wedding inside a museum, let me tell you: it’s magic. Cocktail hour unfolded beneath soaring marble arches, toasts were raised under chandeliers, and the dance floor stayed packed well into the night. A vintage car sendoff and cupcakes from Baked & Wired closed out one of the most elegant celebrations I’ve had the privilege to shoot.
