Since by now you all know just how much I love bridal portrait sessions as part of the wedding photography experience, I just had to share a few of my favorites from Caroline’s classic bridal session at the historic home McAlister Leftwich House.
Planning bridal portraits at an indoor location is often so helpful, because not only do you have to risk potentially rescheduling your session due to rain as you would with an outdoor session, you also completely eliminate the risk of getting your wedding dress torn or dirty before your wedding day. When helping my brides pick an indoor venue for their bridal portraits, I often recommend a clean and bright space, like this house, with plenty of natural light and very minimal distractions. This blank slate truly allows you to be the focus of attention in these portraits, and also gives a beautiful backdrop for close up photos of your bridal details.
